Cross Correlation
« on: March 28, 2011, 10:06:43 PM »
Hi,

I was wondering if any of you guys could possibly help me with using the xcorr function in Matlab.
I have 3 seperate signals, 2 of the signals are the same and the other 1 is different.
I want to cross correlate them to prove that the 2 signals are the same and the other 1 differs from them.
Should i get a value of 1 when correlating the two same signals and some other value when i correlate the differing signals?
I know this is probably an easy problem for you guys but i am new to Matlab, so any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Craig
