I am a beginner in this area. I would better call me a novice. I am working on a project where I have to make serial port communication. However I can do it with programming languages but I am interested in learning Matlab. So please let me know if serial port communication can be done using Matlab or matlab simulink. Please let me know the ways of getting some trial version of these software so that I can get used to them.........
