Hi all,

A leading privately held investment manager is seeking a Senior Quantitative  Developer to help build the MATLAB capability within the team. This would involve introducing the MATLAB technology to their current team and building a new system as part of a Greenfield development project. This position is based in London and offers an EXCELLENT salary package. This role is looking for someone who in the future will be able to manage their own money in the business.

Responsibilities

- To enhance the derivatives product knowledge and provide a direct interface between the head of derivatives business and the Quant team
- To work directly alongside the Head of Quants, including taking over his responsibilities in his absence
- Supporting exisiting quant/derivatives processes
 
Requirements
- Strong modelling skills in MATLAB or Excel/VBA
- Pricing and risk level knowledge of equity derivatives and derivatives in general
- Ability to present complex technology solutions and architectures to stakeholders of all abilities
- Ability to work in the sell-side-like environment
- Ability to work at all stages of the development lifecycle
- Practical understanding of modern software engineering practices and development environments
- Strong numerate academic background
- Experience with Agile development processes
